Several months have passed since the last article about Ukrainian people, and a lot has changed in my life and in the life of my country. Ukrainians, who I continue to tell and show about, are also changing.
As in the first part, “Ukrainian people”, I will show photos taken by Ukrainians. I do not rule out that the people depicted on them will also be Ukrainians.

I do this for two main reasons:
- I have access to download a certain number of photos on the Shutterstock photobank, so I decided to support Ukrainian photographers in this way; for each download they receive some reward, and I receive a beautiful photo I use on my site;
- I tell the world like that about Ukrainian people; someone, who will check my site from a writer’s point of view, may come across this article and get a certain amount of pleasure.
Yes, there are other reasons why I do it, but I don’t see the point of talking about it in every part of the series of articles “Ukrainian people”.

Here you can see very different Ukrainians. Blondes, brunettes, blondes, tall and short girls, boys, strong and not so strong, in different clothes, and sometimes without it at all.

When I scroll through these photos for a long time, I feel a certain warmth from the awareness of the natural beauty of Ukrainians. Although, I am sure every country has more visually attractive people, photogenic, and there are also good photographers who, thanks to their skill, can present beauty in the most favorable conditions.

While making these collections, I always have a question I cannot completely answer and forget about. The question sounds something like this: “Who are Ukrainians?” What features do they have, and how are they significantly different from, for example, Chinese or Africans besides skin color?
It’s not so much about physical differences, but rather I’m interested in the qualities of a person, his peculiarities, habits, traditional characteristic features, which make it possible to identify with a high probability exactly a Ukrainian among many other proposed candidates.

In this article, I want to partially answer this question. Ukrainians are zealous. During the long history of our people, the nation, a zeal for freedom and independence has worked wonders both on the battlefield and on the political stage. Our zeal to survive in harsh conditions of persecution and repression forms a clear imprint at the genetic level. I am sure of it.

The events taking place in Ukraine now will certainly have their consequences in future generations, when our today’s zeal will not only inspire the descendants. It is zeal that will lead Ukrainians to victory in the war, it is zeal that will become the foundation for a bright future. The zeal of Ukrainian people will become an example to follow, a reason to speak about Ukraine with respect.

Ukrainians are cheerful. A sense of humor is perhaps not their main special feature, although one can argue with this statement. But this is my territory and I express my opinion foremost. I believe humor is our salvation, our lifeboat, which brings victory closer and makes us above all troubles in the world, in the universe. Is there anything more ironic than humanity’s smile in the face of infinity?
