I am increasingly drawn to writing longer pieces, without imposing an hour limit on myself.
I am starting to see the bigger picture in my writing, making it easier to move events around. My goal of turning my writing sessions into a marathon is becoming a reality, as sometimes I not only need to motivate myself to write, but also to stop writing as other responsibilities demand my attention.
Today’s plan has already been completed. It’s hard for me to say which of these opposing actions is more challenging. Both of them are equally frustrating, as they represent a restriction. Discipline requires limitations, however, and I must experience it for myself and draw my own conclusions.
Here’s another update from my writing marathon, which is almost halfway done:
Volodymyr Zahnybida
Literary and movie critic. Born and raised in Ukraine. Interested in writing all my life, but I began feel myself as a writer only a couple of years ago.
Within my blog, I seek out inspiration, delve into self-discovery, search for answers to questions, and provide responses to current topics.
